Junior Golf Programs
The Total Concept Golf Academy offers a variety of different teaching options depending upong the student's age, goals, commitment level, and desire to improve. Listed below are teaching options available to junior golfers:
- Basic Academy Program -- for students whose goal is to play golf at a high level (high school, college, or professionally) and are willing to make a commitment both in terms of time and effort. The following benefits are included in the Basic Academy Program:
- Initial skills assessment, mental game evaluation, and fitness and conditioning assessment
- Yearly goal setting and corresponding improvement plan
- Custom club fitting session to ensure optimum performance
- Weekly 90-minute golf lesson (12 each quarter) covering the full swing, short game, and putting
- Personalized golf-specific workout program
- Quarterly on-course playing lesson
- Mental game sessions
- Statistical analysis of performances
- Tournament observation and review
- Assistance with junior tournament selection
- College recruiting assistance and advice

Advanced Academy Program -- for students who want additional instruction in order to speed up their development. The Advanced Academy Program includes all of the benefits of the Basic Academy Program plus:

Off-campus P.E. Program -- for middle and high school students who are interested in learning golf or improving their game in a fun and encouraging environment while receiving class credit for P.E. This program incorporates the same approach offered to regular Academy students. The following benefits are included in the Off-campus P.E. program:

Weekly 60-minute golf lesson covering the full swing, short game, and putting

Participation in a weekly golf-specific fitness and conditioning class

Opportunity to play 9-holes of golf each week with other kids in the program

Physical fitness assessment and customized golf-specific workout program

Statistical analysis of performances

Individual Private Lessons -- for students who are either younger or not yet ready for an Academy-type program. Individual private lessons are beneficial to beginning, intermediate, and advanced junior golfers and do a good job of preparing the student for more intensive instruction.

Group Lessons and Clinics -- for beginning junior golfers (6-10 years old) who can benefit from an introduction to the fundamentals of golf (grip, alignment, posture, ball position, swing basics, etc.). Click here for more details.
